Day 6 : Shenzhen_Macau_HK ~ 02.11.11 - 11.11.11

One of my childhood's dream had come true ... Yes .. visit to Ocean Park ... :) It happened on the Day 6 of our trip ...

Usual time of waking up that is at 8am, get ready, go for breakfast and there we go.

The routes to Ocean Park that we have taken is as below :-

Yau Ma Tei MTR station (take red line towards Central) --> Alight at Admiralty Station --> proceed to Exit B, walk along Drake Street --> you will be able to see the signboard of bus 629

It was slightly drizzling on that day and I kept praying that it will not rain heavily ... and thank God for answering my prayers :)

Yeah, we are here ....

And, the 1st attraction that we went to ~ Giant Panda Adventure. Here, you get to see the pandas which we hardly could see it back in Malaysia. Main reason due to the weather, and guess what, the pandas here are kept in air-cond room ... how bliss ... :p

Haha, any similarities ... :p

Next, we moved on to the Whiskers Harbour.  This is a wonderland for kiddos .. all types of rides which are meant for kids ... and as nothing much for us to explore here, we proceed to the Pacific Pier, where you can find a large collection of sea lions. As we were there at the right time for feeding time, the sea lions actually did some wonderful 'performance' ... and what impressed me the most, they perform perfect yoga poses ... haha .. even better than me :p

After spending some time in Pacific Pier, hb wanted to check out this Chinese Sturgeon Aquarium. Is pretty boring for me at this section. Rather small but you will be introduced with some fishes that Chinese adore. Before ending our visit to Ocean Park with the dolphin stage show, we took some opportunities to went for some rides. And, this is what we managed to snap when we were high up in the air ...

Age are cathing up, hence, I dare not even tried out those roller coaster, but, I tried to convince hb to go on it. I told him that I will be ok here, and I will wait for you so that you can enjoy your rides. And, guess what, hb answered me that, he felt that age does matter after he went on a scary roller coaster during our last visit to Universal Studio Singapore ... haha .. so he said, is ok, we will just watch people 'screaming' away.

Time flies, and it is time for us to catch the Sea Dreamz ~ Dolphin show.

By evening, after the dolphin show, it is almost time for us to say bye-bye to Ocean Park. Initial plan was to check out the Jumbo Floating Restaurant at Aberdeen, which was only about 10 mins rides by taxi from the Ocean Park. However, we changed our mind and decided to check out the Mong Kok Ladies Market instead.

Same way as we traveled earlier to Ocean Park, except that now in the opposite direction. So, we waited for the bus 629, and alight the MRT at Admiralty station and stop at Mong Kok station (Red line), proceed to Exit D3, do a so-called u-turn, walked a few steps back to Argyle street, turn right and turn right again at the next cross street. And, you will be able to see the happening Ladies Market.

Did not buy anything from here, it is just to feel the 'environment' there, but if you happen to eye on something here. you must remember to BARGAIN. After having a short walk there, we decided to get back to our hotel to get some rest. Oh, and guess what, the hotel that we were staying, has a local dessert shop just right across the road ~ Hui Lau Shan dessert. So, as a dessert-lover, I convinced hb to drop by for a dessert-supper :p

So fruity ... this is what hb had :)

We had a great day although it was tiring .... :) ... I can't wait for the next day .. Why ? Answer will be revealed soon ... *ngek ngek ngek*
