Oh well ... it has finally come to almost the final day of our holidays. And, we will be visiting Hong Kong Disneyland today ... :) ... and, will be also staying in the Disney Hollywood Hotel :) ... Guess that I am happy like a kid ...
We woke up slightly earlier that usual, get ready, went for a quick breakfast in a nearby local cafe. Once done, walked back to the hotel, packed and get ready to check-up. Yes, Disneyland, here we are !!
The MRT routes to Disneyland via Yau Ma Tei station :-
Yau Ma Tei station --> Lai King station (via Tsuen Wan line) --> interchange to Tung Chung line and stop at Sunny Bay via the Disneyland Resort Line
The environment of the Disneyland Resort Line even make you feel so in fantasyland. The window panel is of mickey mouse shape, the handle is also mickey mouse shape and there are also mickey mouse, peter pan, etc statues in the MRT .. :)
Upon reaching at the Disneyland stop, as we were with our luggages, we decided to check-in to the hotel first. It was so wonderful coordinated that there are shuttle buses to bring you all around. Waste no time, we board the bus to get ourselves to the hotel.
After done with our checking in, place our luggage for them to safekeep (as the room is not ready yet), we waited for the shuttle bus right outside the hotel, so that we can get back to the entrance of the fantasyland.
Here we are at the main entrance .. :)
By the way, we bought our ticket earlier when we were visiting The Peak, there was a booth selling the ticket. So, once we get in to the main entrance, there is this very beautifully planted plants which form the face of Mickey Mouse ... :)
Moving on to check out more on the Disneyland, there were also numerous characters for photo shooting, but bear in mind, it will be super duper long queue. But, being a big kiddo, I told hb that I will try to snap some photos with all the characters. In fact, we wasted quite some time queuing, but most importantly, you are satisfied :) ...
One of my fav picture ... :)
After getting most of my wanted photos, it is almost the show time to catch the Golden Mickey show. It was a great time where you can actually 'behave' like a kiddo ... :p
We do enjoy ourselves in this show and in conjuction with their 5th anniversary, even their parade was of the theme :)
There are a few more attractions like Winnie The Pooh, It's a small world after all, River's Adventure where it applies the concept of Tarzan.
After spending almost more than half day there, we finally called it a day and waited for the shuttle bus to get us back to the hotel. And, finally, we can check-out the hotel room ... :)
The hotel room is also very mickey-oriented... hehe ... even the tv channel is full of disney channels. The curtain is of mickey mouse's design, even in the bathroom, the shower curtain is also with mickey's pattern.
Such a stress-free stay where you are really back to your childhood time. We were quite tired that day and dozed off quickly after having a nice hot shower.
Final day is here .....
Happy and enjoyable day passes very fast. We will be catching the 5.45pm plane back to KL. So, on this day, we slept slightly later, woke up to have breakfast in the hotel and explore around the hotel. We even went to check out another nearby hotel ~ HK Disneyland Hotel. This hotel is slightly more expensive compare to the one that we stayed, but of course, this hotel is much bigger than the one we stayed. So, hb said, the next trip we will try out this bigger hotel ... hehe ...
By around 2pm, hb say we better leave and proceed to the airport. As the airport is pretty near to Disneyland, the journey there was quite fast. We had our lunch in the airport and shop abit around. And it is almost time to board the plane and say bye - bye to HK.
But, we will be back ... :)

Day 7 & 8 : Shenzhen_Macau_HK ~ 02.11.11 - 11.11.11
Day 7 : Shopping day, Shopping day ... a day to just spend .... :p .. oh by the way, it is the 1st day of winter here, and guess what, the weather really totally change immediately where it kept raining whole day.
Waste no time, after having our breakie, we 'board' the MRT from Yau Ma Tei station straight to Tung Chung station as we gonna spend maybe almost whole day there in Citygate Outlet Shopping Center. I think this place is pack with crowds everyday !! There are numerous of branded factory outlets such as Nike, Timberland, Quiksilver, Esprit, MNG, Crocs .... you name it, they have it ... :p
Hb was excited too as there are quite a few of his favourite brand, so we decided to check out floor by floor. Starting with the ground floor, most if it are sport outlets. Hb quickly check out his favourite brand i.e Timberland and Quiksilver. He bought quite a few, I guess at least 5 t-shirts which was pretty a good deal. On average, each t-shirt only cost like RM 50 per pc.
Done with his, it is my turn ... *bling bling*. I spent quick some time in Esprit .. the outlet is big and crowded. Even the fitting room is always full. So, to avoid wasting time from queuing, I grabbed a trolley, and just pick what I chosen and 'compiled' it so that I can tried it all in a time :) .. And, my loops were from Esprit .. total like 7 pcs ... :p
We were there till almost evening. Had our teabreak there and after checking out some other outlets, we decided to go back to Yau Ma Tei to have dinner at one of the dai pai tong.
After having our dinner, we drop by Lan Kwai Fong. I guess, trip to HK would not be complete if you don't step your footstep there ya ... :p
Day 8 : It was also another relaxing day where the first half day, we will be exploring those local markets and followed with a visit up to the Peak. But, before that, I told hb that I would like to have dim sum again in Hong Kong. Therefore, we went to have dim sum in Tsim Tsa Tsui.
All what we had for our breakfast .. yummy yummy dimsum ... :)
1st stop - Fa Yuen street
2nd stop - Flower Market
3rd stop - Goldfish street
By the way, it get darks at as early as almost 6pm in Hong Kong. After enjoying the cooling breeze up the hill, we took the tram to get down hill and hb thought to have the feeling of being local Hong-Kee, so what he did for our dinner ... Tapau economy noodles and we had it back in the hotel.
Once done with 'shopping' there, and since it will be our final night in Yau Ma Tei, I wanted to check out the dessert again at Hui Lau Shan.
And, guess what, our dessert is more expensive than our dinner ... hahaha....
Anyway, on holiday ma, so cant 'kira' so much rite ... :)
Well, it is our final night here in Yau Ma Tei, before checking in to Hong Kong Disneyland (another childhood's dream of mine ~ to go Disneyland .. :p)

| These 3 type of noodles, cost us HKD 33 |
The noodles are so-so only la .. :p .... once we are done with our dinner, we went down to further explore and we dropped by at the Temple street. It is just another local market and guess what we bought there ? An additional bag to place our laundry to bring back Malaysia ... :p as our existing luggage is kinda pack ... hehe ...
Once done with 'shopping' there, and since it will be our final night in Yau Ma Tei, I wanted to check out the dessert again at Hui Lau Shan.

Day 6 : Shenzhen_Macau_HK ~ 02.11.11 - 11.11.11
One of my childhood's dream had come true ... Yes .. visit to Ocean Park ... :) It happened on the Day 6 of our trip ...
Usual time of waking up that is at 8am, get ready, go for breakfast and there we go.
The routes to Ocean Park that we have taken is as below :-
Yau Ma Tei MTR station (take red line towards Central) --> Alight at Admiralty Station --> proceed to Exit B, walk along Drake Street --> you will be able to see the signboard of bus 629
It was slightly drizzling on that day and I kept praying that it will not rain heavily ... and thank God for answering my prayers :)
Yeah, we are here ....
Age are cathing up, hence, I dare not even tried out those roller coaster, but, I tried to convince hb to go on it. I told him that I will be ok here, and I will wait for you so that you can enjoy your rides. And, guess what, hb answered me that, he felt that age does matter after he went on a scary roller coaster during our last visit to Universal Studio Singapore ... haha .. so he said, is ok, we will just watch people 'screaming' away.
Time flies, and it is time for us to catch the Sea Dreamz ~ Dolphin show.
Did not buy anything from here, it is just to feel the 'environment' there, but if you happen to eye on something here. you must remember to BARGAIN. After having a short walk there, we decided to get back to our hotel to get some rest. Oh, and guess what, the hotel that we were staying, has a local dessert shop just right across the road ~ Hui Lau Shan dessert. So, as a dessert-lover, I convinced hb to drop by for a dessert-supper :p

And, the 1st attraction that we went to ~ Giant Panda Adventure. Here, you get to see the pandas which we hardly could see it back in Malaysia. Main reason due to the weather, and guess what, the pandas here are kept in air-cond room ... how bliss ... :p

| Haha, any similarities ... :p |
Next, we moved on to the Whiskers Harbour. This is a wonderland for kiddos .. all types of rides which are meant for kids ... and as nothing much for us to explore here, we proceed to the Pacific Pier, where you can find a large collection of sea lions. As we were there at the right time for feeding time, the sea lions actually did some wonderful 'performance' ... and what impressed me the most, they perform perfect yoga poses ... haha .. even better than me :p
After spending some time in Pacific Pier, hb wanted to check out this Chinese Sturgeon Aquarium. Is pretty boring for me at this section. Rather small but you will be introduced with some fishes that Chinese adore. Before ending our visit to Ocean Park with the dolphin stage show, we took some opportunities to went for some rides. And, this is what we managed to snap when we were high up in the air ...

By evening, after the dolphin show, it is almost time for us to say bye-bye to Ocean Park. Initial plan was to check out the Jumbo Floating Restaurant at Aberdeen, which was only about 10 mins rides by taxi from the Ocean Park. However, we changed our mind and decided to check out the Mong Kok Ladies Market instead.
Same way as we traveled earlier to Ocean Park, except that now in the opposite direction. So, we waited for the bus 629, and alight the MRT at Admiralty station and stop at Mong Kok station (Red line), proceed to Exit D3, do a so-called u-turn, walked a few steps back to Argyle street, turn right and turn right again at the next cross street. And, you will be able to see the happening Ladies Market.

Day 5 : Shenzhen_Macau_HK ~ 02.11.11 - 11.11.11
Fun time passes pretty fast and it is the 5th day of our holiday ... and we went to Lantau Island. Is pretty easy to get to Lantau Island. We board the MRT from Yau Ma Tei station and stop at Tung Chung station.
We woke up at about 8am, get ready and went to a nearby local cafe for a quick breakfast. We had Wan Tan Soup that morning :)
Luckily that I did some research before and decide to try the crystal cabin. Of course you need to pay more but the great thing is, you get to use the priority lane and it definately save lots of time :)
So, waste no time, we got onto the crystal cabin and enjoy the view all around. Take note, if you are afraid of height, you may need to think again whether to try out this ... :p
Once we reached the peak, we walked around and decided to join the local tour to Tai-O. Have been watching the HK series and quite often that they chose Tai-O as one of the filming location.
Tai- O is a fishing village and it is just like our local 'Pulau Ketam' here. The houses here are stilt houses and apparently more than half of the houses had been burnt down due to a big fire attack few years back. And, we took the opportunity to snap the photo of the remaining stilt houses before it is all been tear down in future.
After spending a few hours in Tai-O, we are then back to the main village of Ngong Ping village. Spent some time in the village by visiting the famous Giant Buddha.
And, we had a quick vegetarian lunch in the Po Lin Monastery. According to the tour guide, the famous HK singer, Anita Mui was also placed here.
Spend almost more than half a day here, and we decided to go down the hill and head towards to Tsim Tsa Tsui to enjoy the symphony of lights. The light show will be held daily starting at 8pm. As I read from some articles that the best locations to view this beautiful light are somewhere along the the Tsim Tsa Tsui waterfront between Avenue of Stars and the Hong Kong Cultural Centre or even around the Victoria Harbour. This show is free for public enjoyment.
While waiting for the show to began, we walked around the Avenue of Stars. It was quite a windy nite :)
After the show, we dropped by the Nanthan's road to "window-shop" and also to have our dinner before calling it a day :)
We woke up at about 8am, get ready and went to a nearby local cafe for a quick breakfast. We had Wan Tan Soup that morning :)
After fulfilling our hungy stomach, we walked to the nearest MRT station to board the train. Upon reaching Tung Chung station, we walked towards the cable car station. Was such a long, long queue ... so many tourists :)
Look at the queue .... *omg*
